"The Late Seating had all of the staples of an artsy event: a funky space located downtown,
full of different types of
paintings, sculptures and photographs
(which is all for sale, by the way, so do your part to support local starving artists!);
a hip crowd, including the artists themselves; and most importantly, a fully stocked bar!"

A frenzied dystopia where prices are high, traffic is miserable and the mad roam the streets on four-poster beds: the stuff of fiction, of course, and in no way meant to resemble any local spring festival. Join The Late Seating at Actors for an original comic evening of song, dance and neo-vaudevillian hullabaloo celebrating the city, its people and their will to survive one more Derby. Assuming we do survive…

365 Days/365 Plays
by Suzan-Lori Parks
May 18, 2007

10:30 p.m.
Bingham Theatre

On November 13, 2002, Pulitzer Prize winner Suzan-Lori Parks got an idea to write a play a day for a year. She began that very day, finishing one year later. The resulting play cycle, called 365 Days/365 Plays, is a daily meditation on an artistic life. Some plays are very short, less than a page. Others last forever.

Actors Theatre of Louisville is pleased to participate, in a collaboration with Louisville area performing arts groups,in presenting 7 plays from the sweeping national cycle.
