Alexa Echeverria is a Latinx Western Kentucky writer. Her arts primarily focus in poetry and photography, but sometimes likes to incorporate painting and graphic design. Alexa is a mixed Mexican-American, queer woman who grew up in a rich area outside Cincinnati. Her experiences are untraditional and a confusion of two vastly different cultures which she threads into her writings. Alexa attended The Governor's School of Arts for poetry which helped her understand that she had something to say about being caught between two communities. Her work is honest of cultural barriers she's had to face and overcome throughout the progression of her life.
