Catherine Miller (they/them) is a dramaturg, casting director, and gender consultant based in Chicago. Miller has worked on new plays and musicals with The Old Globe, Sideshow Theatre, First Floor Theater and The New Coordinates in addition to their dramaturgical work at Diversionary Theatre, Ion Theatre, and Cygnet Theatre. They have done gender consulting work for Paramount Theatre and Victory Gardens as well as been a guest speaker/teacher at The Theatre School at DePaul, Steppenwolf, Director’s Lab Chicago, The Forge, OCU and Beloit University. Miller was recently featured in American Theatre Magazine's Role Call, and were one of Newcity’s “Fifty People Who Really Perform for Chicago” in 2019+2020.  Dramaturgy BFA: The Theatre School at DePaul University (2014).
