Live out your dreams of being a Broadway “Triple Threat” in this two-day Musical Theatre workshop. The first session will focus on musical training as participants practice vocal techniques, acting the song, ensemble work and musicianship, all through the process of learning and performing a group song. The second session will be primarily a movement workshop, taking the musical number from the previous session and adding choreography to the performance. Participants will gain experience learning choreography, developing stamina, and maintaining healthy vocal practices while adding movement elements.
Musicians of any level, beginner-intermediate dancers. Due to the physical nature of the second session, access for participants with mobility needs should be discussed. Accommodations could be made with foresight and preparation.
Classes are designed for adult students, age 18 and older. No prior experience is needed.
Please note: Deadline to cancel class is 5 days prior to start of first class if class minimum is not met, unless otherwise discussed with instructor.
