Breathe In, Speak Out: Finding Ease in Public Presentations

Hone your presentation skills through a series of exercises to improve diction, strengthen posture, and deepen textual analysis. Participants may work with either original or historical/literary speeches to better understand the craft of speech writing. Walk away from this three-hour session with the skills and confidence to amaze any audience.

Classes are designed for adult students, age 18 and older. No prior experience is needed. Previous students are welcome.

Please indicate whether you would prefer to work on an original piece, which you will be asked to bring in on the day of the class.

Please note: Deadline to cancel class is 5 days prior to start of first class if class minimum is not met, unless otherwise discussed with instructor.


About the Instructor

Abigail Miskowiec is a Learning & Creative Engagement Associate at Actors Theatre of Louisville. She trained as an actor at the Stella Adler School of Acting through New York University’s Tisch School for the Arts. She has taught film, literature, public speaking, and various acting disciplines as a classroom teacher and as a teaching artist. She holds an M.A. in Theatre Education from Emerson College.
