FAQ

We want to provide you with as much information as we can to help you feel confident and excited about our upcoming year. If you don't find the answer to your questions below, please email BoxOffice@actorstheatre.org for additional support. Please allow 72 hours for a member of our team to respond to you.

What is a virtual season?

Instead of in-person performances, Actors Theatre will present virtual experiences through digital content.  These projects will be available for streaming on your preferred device.  With brilliant artists and reimagined design elements, we’ll be sharing wonderful stories through innovative technology.

I'm new to streaming. How do I do it?

If you’re reading this message on a desktop computer, smart phone or tablet, you’re 99% of the way there! We are hard at work right now to provide you with the most fun, seamless experience possible. Specifics may vary from project to project, but we will be here to support you throughout the season to make sure you don’t miss out.

How do I access the projects in my season?

You will receive a link in your email on each release date for each project for which you are ticketed. You'll be able to watch it any time you want, while the project is available for streaming. We'll send you a reminder before each release date to let you know it's coming up.

What will be part of the season?

We are excited to announce our Brown-Forman Series as well as holiday favorites. In addition to this season’s projects there will be interactive events like shared watch parties, talkbacks and in-home activities. You can learn more about those projects by exploring the lineup.

What about performances that had previously been announced for the 2020-21 Season?

Our previous season announcement came only a few days before we ended our season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In light of these developments, Actors Theatre is excited to present a new season of work that promises to be ambitious, accessible and inclusive thanks to the possibility of technology. This season continues to focus on exceptional storytelling in a format specifically designed for a virtual viewing experience.

What if I already bought a 2020-21 subscription (prior to July 2020)?

Your subscription has been converted to an All Access Pass. You will receive information about your new package. There may be special events and viewings that have a specific date and time. This information will be shared in advance.

Will I need tickets?

You will not receive physical tickets. You will receive access information for each production as it becomes available. This season will strongly rely on email communication. In order to ensure that you are receiving, please consider adding  boxoffice@actorstheatre.org and info@actorstheatre.org to your contact list. If messages from Actors Theatre are being filtered as Spam, you can add them to your “safe sender” list.

Will I still get to keep my seats when we return to the theatre?

If you had previously requested specific seats, we will happily keep these on hold for you for when we return in person for the 2021–2022 Season.

What should I do about parking?

We will defer any pre-paid parking to be valid in the 2021-2022 season.

Can I use my Actor Buck this season?

Yes! You'll be able to use your Actor Buck at any Mainstage or Holiday production in the 2020-2021 season. As additional special projects are announced, we will let you know if Actor Bucks can be redeemed.
