Actors Theatre Direct is multi-channel, on-demand creative content to ensure world-class theatre continues to thrive and to enrich lives.
With Alphaeus Green, Rush Trowell, Lashondra Hood, Erica Denise, Alonzo Richmond, Sujotta Pace, Janelle Renee Dunn and Larry Muhammad
In the American Theatre black artists are often navigating not only the “double-consciousness” that W.E.B. Dubois described in his book, Souls of Black Folks, but a necessary hybridity as artistic hyphenates (I.e.,Actor/Producer/Educator/Director...etc.) in their creative lives: a primary way to professionally sustain themselves. Join our panel as they share their journeys as black creatives in the American Theatre on Actors Theatre Direct.
