Prepare welcome bags and provide transportation to visiting artists, including weekly trips to the grocery store.
Provide meals between matinee and evening performances for actors and crew members.
Organize and staff the theatre's gift shop.
Assist members of the Education Department in reading 10-minute plays written by area students.
Provide hospitality and support for the Professional Training Company including picnics, receptions, and home-cooked meals.
Usher for student matinees
Monthly dinner meetings at the theatre where members get to hear from Actors Theatre artists and staff members who provide an in-depth look at the artistic process.
A monthly newsletter which keeps members informed of all member-only events and opportunities.
Opportunities to work collaboratively with Actors staff on events and projects.
Members-only perks like behind-the-scenes access, free parking and theatre tickets.
The opportunity for travel and fellowship with other theatre volunteer organizations through C.A.V.O.R.T. (Conference About Volunteers of Regional Theatres).
Meetings
Actors Associates meetings are held on the second Monday of each month, August through March and the third Monday of April and take place at the theatre at 316 West Main Street.
Prospective members are encouraged to attend a meeting and find out more about Actors Associates! The meetings include dinner ($8.00, optional) which is served at 5:30 p.m. and a program which starts at 6:00 p.m.
