Alonzo Ramont

 

Alonzo Ramont (he/him)has been an arts advocate, performer, educator and director in the local theatre community, having worked with Stage One, Derby Dinner Playhouse, Actors Theatre of Louisville and more! After experiencing the lack of diversity in the arts sector, Alonzo launched Redline Performing Arts, a community theatre focused on performing arts and social, racial and economic justice in an effort to cast a wider net for Louisville creatives. He also works with The Homeless Coalition to reverse many of the effects of redlining and furthered his efforts while working on staff as Executive Director of All Nations Worship Assembly Louisville where he established a number of community engagement initiatives, including Family Fest and Community Connect Day! Alonzo also serves on the board of Louisville Urban League Young Professionals, Louisville Arts and Culture Alliance and is a member of The Collective by GEDDI, Young Professionals Association of Louisville (YPAL), National Action Network as well as his own community produce stand, Produce and More.
