Cathleen Riddley

 

Cathleen Riddley (ASL Interpreter Cat) is an ASL/English Interpreter and actor. As one who specializes in interpreting for the theatre, she has interpreted the BroadwaySF National Tours of Hamilton, On Your Feet, The Lion King, Once, and Motown the Musical, among others. She has also interpreted for a variety of performers such as Trevor Noah, Angélique Kidjo, and Buddy Guy. As an actor: Film: La Mission (feature film) and Two Plus One (short film). Television: Trauma. Theatre: San Francisco Bay Area theatres including American Conservatory Theatre, TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, Aurora Theatre Company, and San Francisco Playhouse. Directing credits include a staged reading of Crumbs from the Table of Joy at the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre and Affinity at TheatreFIRST. She is an alumna of the Juilliard School, and has an M.A. in Sociology from University of Pennsylvania. Additional Credits: She has received two Theatre Bay Area Awards for Best Featured Actress and one for Best Creative Specialty (Musical Direction).
