The son of a Korean mother and American soldier, Jim Young was born in Tae Jun, Korea. He spent his early years as an army brat moving around, from Korea, to Germany, to the United States until his father’s retirement. He moved to Kentucky just before entering high school and has called KY home since. He graduated from University of Kentucky in 1994 and moved back to Louisville where he married a wife that is out of his league, and raised 3 children who are out of this world. Currently, he manages residential real estate.
