LaShondra Hood (she/her) is an actress, director, educator, and administrator from Birmingham, AL. Recent directing credits include Don’t Tell Me I Can’t Fly, ReFrame, and Elf Jr. (StageOne). Some of LaShondra’s proudest theatrical opportunities include playing Sofia in The Color Purple (Faithworks), Mrs. Claus in Mrs. Claus Saves the Day (Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati), and winning the National Irene Ryan Best Partner Award at the Kennedy Center. LaShondra received her B.A. from Alabama State University and her M.F.A from the University of Louisville.
