piece by piece productions was founded by Wendy vanden Heuvel in 1999. She has been a co-producer on Hundred Days and The Lucky Ones, both by the Bengsons, and is ecstatic to be co-producing their work again with Actors Theater of Louisville on this production of OHIO. Other notable work is The Lake Lucille Chekhov Project (Ivanov, Seagull, Cherry Orchard) which she co-produced with co-founders Brian Mertes and Melissa Kievman. Most recently she co-produced Vicksburg created by Karen Kandel, Eve Beglarian and Mallory Catlett with Mabou Mines and Harlem Stage. Film: The Rest I Make Up directed by Michelle Memran (a documentary about the life and work of the playwright Maria Irene Fornes). piece by piece, along with the executive producing team, Kendra Bator and Tom Casserly, have co- produced various productions with Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, Mabou Mines, St Ann’s Warehouse, Z Space, The Wooster Group, and The Under the Radar Festival.
