Mission

This unique position, which blends Radical Hospitality and Guest Services is ideal for a customer service-oriented individual who loves to interact with guests both in person and by phone. The ideal candidate will work with our team in fostering a welcoming environment for all. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: answering box office calls and emails, selling tickets and answering guest questions on site prior to performances, helping guests with accessibility needs, supporting the Radical Hospitality team with ushering, scanning tickets, and other front of house tasks as needed. This position will require a flexible schedule with evening and weekend work and may require the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Essential Functions

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

▪ Ability to work and collaborate effectively with many different constituencies, including

staff, volunteers, donors, and guests.

▪ Ability to communicate effectively via email, by phone, and in person.

▪ Capacity to be aware of and in control of emotional wellness and be able to handle

interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically. A strong sense of professional

and personal boundaries when providing hospitality to guests is essential.

▪ Ability to work as an effective team member and maintain a positive attitude in stressful

situations.

▪ Effective communication and collaborative skills.

Minimum Qualifications

▪ Punctuality for all shifts.

▪ Ability to use your personal devices (laptop and cell phone)for answering calls, checking

emails, attending meetings remotely, administrative tasks, document creation, and engage

in using Actors Theatre phone application, CRM, and ticketing software.

▪ 18+ years of age and older.

▪ Ability to work independently when working remotely.

▪ Previous experience in using a CRM/ticketing system.

▪ Previous customer service experience.
