Emily Tarquin (they/them) is the Artistic Producer at Actors Theatre of Louisville and has supported over 25 projects over the past year on various digital and emergent technology platforms. They also developed and produced a new series, Louisville Sessions, featuring original music and videos by artists throughout Kentucky. Casting Director credits at Actors Theatre include: Block Association Project by Michael Crowley/Wolf359, The Wolves by Sarah DeLappe, Hype Man: A Break Beat Play by Idris Goodwin, How to Defend Yourself by Lily Padilla, Pipeline by Dominique Morisseau, and God Said This by Leah Nanako Winkler. Tarquin was previously the Artistic Producer at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, where they co-developed, produced and curated the experimental programming arm, Off-Center; was the in-house casting director; and produced the Colorado New Play Summit. Tarquin was part of the Innovation Lab and Continuing Innovation funding platforms from Doris Duke and co-produced the 16,000-sq ft. immersive experience Sweet & Lucky by Third Rail Projects as part of The Wallace Foundation’s Build Audiences for Sustainability Grant. Tarquin is also an active part of Ring of Keys, the Racial Healing Project by Global Marketplace, and on the leadership team of Phans for Racial Equity.
