In Memory of Patricia Wilson Ballard

Actors Theatre of Louisville joins our community in remembering Patricia "Pat" Wilson Ballard, who passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 83. A former board member, longtime donor, and devoted audience member, Pat helped sustain the theatre and vibrant arts community she loved.

Pat's service on Actors Theatre's board began in 1975, marking an early and important chapter in a connection that would span decades. Supporting the work both behind the scenes and from her seat in the audience, her commitment is part of the enduring history of people who have helped Actors Theatre bring stories to life.

A graduate of the University of Louisville Law School, Pat was also a devoted Louisville Cardinals fan and a longtime supporter of the American Civil Liberties Union. She maintained a wide circle of friends throughout Louisville, sharing the city's cultural and civic life.

At Actors Theatre, we are grateful for the many ways Pat chose to participate, contribute, and be present over the years. We honor her memory and her lasting place in our theatre community.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Pat's children, family, and all who knew her.
