The Ghost Light Gala is a spine-tingling celebration of theatre and community, and ATL's fall fundraising event.

On October 3, 2026, Actors Theatre of Louisville will transform into a beautifully haunted stage for an evening of live music, curated cocktails, and bourbon pull, and a dinner to die for.
Expect unexpected performances, enchanting encounters, and a few delightful surprises lurking just around the corner. This is your opportunity to dance on historic stages, dine in iconic spaces, and mingle with new friends!
Why a Ghost Light Gala?
A ghost light is a single, standing lamp left lit on an empty theatre stage. It’s a theatre tradition that acts as a safety light, a ward for mischievous spirits, and keeps theatre ghosts company. A ghost light symbolizes that the theatre's never truly abandoned, and reminds us that even in darkness, something is always present, waiting to be awakened.
So dance the night away among the dearly departed, and help ensure that Actors Theatre continues to thrive, alive with creativity, community, and a future that refuses to fade.
