The Kentucky Dance Festival Student Concert shines a spotlight on the next generation of dance artists. Featuring 18 original works created by student choreographers—from K-12 students, to university students, and adult community dancers—this inspiring matinee celebrates creativity, collaboration, and emerging artistic voices.

With performers representing public schools, universities, private studios, youth companies, and community ensembles, the Student Concert offers a vibrant and heartfelt glimpse into the future of dance in Kentucky. Come support these dedicated artists as they take the professional stage at Actors Theatre of Louisville.

The Student Concert features works by: Ambo Dance Theatre’s Junior Company, PreProfessional Company and Community Ensemble; Noe Middle School; Grace James Academy of Excellence; Western Middle School for the Arts; the Youth Performing Arts School; Lincoln Elementary Step Team; Melissa Burch (Western Kentucky University); Kentucky Dance Academy; Louisville Ballet (Amanda Rollins); Motion Studio Dance Company; Sora Aerial Arts; Alyssa Walker (Campbellsville University); and Cabaret Noire.
