Actors Theatre of Louisville’s Learning and Creative Engagement Department is proud to present New Voices, featuring original 10-minute plays written by students at the Kentucky School for the Blind and performed by Braille Readers Theatre. These staged readings celebrate emerging young playwrights, developed through ATL’s New Voices residency program. The plays were created under the instruction of teaching artists Joy Lanceta Colonel and Katie Peña-Van Zile, and will be brought to life under the direction of Talleri McRae. Join us for an afternoon that uplifts student voices and showcases the power of theatre to expand access and imagination. This performance will include a Q&A with the playwrights and actors.
