In response to their mother’s attempted suicide, a child begins a list of Every Brilliant Thing worth living for. As the child journeys into adulthood, the list evolves alongside them. From 1. ice cream to 10000. waking up late with someone you love, the audience is invited to join the storyteller in reflecting on the simple, wonderful, joyful things that inspire hope even in the darkest times.

Run Time: Approximately 80 minutes. There will be no intermission.

Age Recommendation: 14+

Content Warning: mentions of suicide and suicidal ideation.

Audience Interaction: This production involves audience participation. All Interactions are optional, confirmed by consent and socially distanced. The production may be enjoyed with or without directly participating.

Open Captioning is available, on your personal mobile device, for performances on Sunday, February 13 at 2 p.m. and February 16 at 7 p.m. Any smart phone browser can access the transcription during the performance. Once in the theater, please let the Radical Hospitality Team member checking you in know that you would like to access the captioning service and they will provide you with the link. Actors Theatre has a limited number of devices available for use during the performance for those without a smart phone. 
 
We ask that you silence all notifications on your device during the performance. The text is white and will be over a black background.
