Daniel Whit
Daniel Whit was born in Holguin, Cuba. He was introduced to music at an early age at his parents’ church. Whit wrote his first song at 10 years old, and then continued writing songs and freestyles while he was in school and playing sports.
His first music group was The Remands, a Christian Reggaeton and rap group. They performed in multiple churches around the region. After getting accepted into the Instituto Superior de Arte Filial Holguin to study Opera at 17 years old, he founded the classical/pop Christian group Cuarteto Vida and started working for Teatro Eddy Suñol Lyric Company. After moving to Miami, Whit performed in multiple venues, including the Adrienne Arsht Center where he had the opportunity to sing for the XX International Ballet Festival of Miami. In 2018 Whit was accepted into Simpson College to study Music Performance. He was awarded multiple scholarships. In 2020, Whit moved to Louisville, KY to build a solo career. He now has thousands of views on YouTube with his songs "Quiere Goza" (32K views), "Pura Meil" (44K views), and his latest single "Y Ojala" (over 90K views). In September 2021, Whit’s song Pura Miel won Best Latin Song of the Year in the 3rd Edition of the Latin Music Awards Kentucky.
