Emily Tarquin
Emily Tarquin (they/them) serves as the Interim Managing Director of Actors Theatre of Louisville overseeing the financial health, general operations, and sustainability of the organization. They are also a Director specializing in immersive work and audience centered experiences and a certified Casting Director with CSA, known for co-developing casting language that has been used in hundreds of notices for the past eight-years. Recent directing credits include Gender Play, or What You Will co-created by Erin Murray and Will Wilhelm (Theatre Alliance, Steppenwolf, Actors Theatre), Won't you be my May-bor? By Andrew Schaftlein and Eric Sharp (Drag Daddy Productions). Tarquin co-founded the innovative programming arm, Off-Center at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, now in its 15th year, and has produced countless new work processes, including both the Colorado New Play Summit and Colorado New Play Festival. Tarquin is an active Board Member and Librarian with the Louisville Tool Library and Co-Chair of Outreach with Phans for Racial Equity. They will be pursuing their Executive MBA with Bellarmine University in Spring 2026.
