Fernando Gonzalez
FERNANDO GONZALEZ couldn't be prouder to be making his Actors Theatre debut— with a true dream team! He is a New York City–based actor working across theatre, film, and narrative audio. He has originated roles and developed new work with Page 73 (Stargazers), New York Theatre Workshop (Skinnamarink), Under the Radar/The Public Theater (Minor Character), and the Exponential Festival (My Utopias), collaborating with artists including Will Arbery, Shayok Misha Chowdhury, Rachel Chavkin, and Sam Pinkleton.
His work has also been seen at Playwrights Horizons, Classic Stage Company, Soho Rep, MCC Theater, Powerhouse Theater, Portland Center Stage, The Bushwick Starr, The Drama League, and New Dramatists. He translated and adapted Ramón del Valle-Inclán’s Bohemian Lights for Live Source’s production at HERE Arts Center.
On screen, Fernando appears in the short films Threshold (Berkshire International Film Festival; Mezipatra Queer Film Festival) and Home (written and directed by Donja R. Love; Out On Film; Bushwick Film Festival), as well as the series Sideways Smile, winner of AAIFF’s Best Episodic. In audio, he can be heard in the latest season of Gideon Media’s serialized fiction series Give Me Away.
Fernando is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts (Playwrights Horizons studio). He thrives in rehearsal rooms built on curiosity, clarity, and a shared sense of play.
