Justin Jackson
From a childhood spent yearning for superpowers and never-ending marathons of Men in Black, Justin’s journey has been a tapestry of passions that transcend the ordinary. He honed his craft at Savannah College of Art and Design. Back in Louisville, his participation in BLM marches evolved into playing Romeo in Actors Theatre of Louisville’s rendition of Romeo & Juliet: Louisville 2020. Justin has continued to study Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Escrima, and Krav Maga. His acting roles in Louisville have included Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet, Antipholus of Syracuse The Comedy of Errors, Edward Ferrars in Sense and Sensibilty, Mr. Bingley in Pride and Prejudice, Macduff in Macbeth (Kentucky Shakespeare); Jonathan Harker in Dracula: A Feminist Revenge Fantasy (Actors Theatre); the Penguin in Jack Frost Saves Christmas (Derby Dinner), and Blitz the premiere of To Battle with LouHive. Sending his immense gratitude and love to his grandmother, for instilling a love for Shakespeare in his heart. “I love you, so. I miss you, so.”
