Overview

The Kentucky Dance Festival Professional Concert showcases a dynamic, curated evening of contemporary dance featuring 23 companies and independent artists from across Kentucky and the nation. Experience a wide range of styles, perspectives, and choreographic voices—from bold, cutting-edge works to culturally rooted traditions—all presented in the Pamela Brown Theatre at Actors Theatre of Louisville.

Each evening includes a special pre-show presentation by 2025 Simpson-Brandt Memorial Scholarship recipient Sofia Ritchie, as well as a thoughtfully crafted concert arc designed to highlight the diversity and excellence of today’s dance landscape. Join us for an inspiring celebration of movement, artistry, and the growing professional dance ecosystem in Kentucky.
